Approaching the bottom of the fresco, you can recognize on both sides of the latin mural inscription two columns that used to work as basements for the busts of Benito Mussolini (on the left) and King Vittorio Emanuele III (on the right).
These busts have been removed after the end of WWII, leaving the pillars without any function but to attest to the infamous Italian past.
